Friendship Walk

The Friendship Walk is a well-established event in the local Eastern Suburbs community calendar. This highly successful initiative is attended by over 1,500 people and raises over $250,000 per year to support programs for children with disabilities.

Friendship Circle

Sydney Friendship Circle was founded in 2007 by Rabbi Sender Kavka and Chana Kavka with one participant and a vision to build a community where every person feels valued and connected.

Friendship Circle brings young people together with children, teens and young adults with disabilities through consistent, shared experiences. What begins as simple connection grows into something deeper. Young people show up each week, building relationships and a sense of responsibility for one another. In that process, they develop confidence, awareness and a genuine understanding of what it means to belong, strengthening the community as a whole.
