How do I register?
You can register anytime you like by clicking the Register button.
Straight away, you'll receive a registration e-mail with login details for your online fundraising page.
How much does it cost to register?
Registration is FREE! We encourage you to fundraise to raise funds for Friendship Circle.
How do I create a team?
To create or join a team
- Head to the register page
- Complete your registration details
- Select ‘create a team’ or ‘join a team’
Participants and donors can then search your team name to make a donation or join your team.
How do I add a child or adult to my team?
Adult: Send them the registration details. Once they register, they can search for your Team. To make it easier for them to join, its a good idea to let them know your team name.
Child: Go to "Edit My Page" Tab and select "Add Child".
How can I see who is on my team?
When you log in to your dashboard, click on the ‘My Team’ section in the left-hand navigation menu. Here you will be able to access a ‘Team Members’ tab where you’ll be able to view everyone who has registered to be in your team. You will also be able to view your donations and ask for support.
How do I join an existing team?
During the registration process, you will be asked if you would like to join or create a team. If someone has already set up a team name, go to ‘Join a Team’ and select your team name from the dropdown menu. Complete your registration and you’ll be able to view your team information in your dashboard!
If you have already registered and want to change or join a team, please email the name and email addresses of those who wish to join the team, and the team name to [email protected].
Where does my fundraising money go?
100% of your money goes directly to Friendship Circle to help fund our camps and getaways. To find out more check out the How Your Fundraising Helps page. You can also contact Friendship Circle at [email protected] to find out what's going on in your community.
How can I promote the Friendship Circle Walk fundraiser?
Once you have created your fundraising page, you will be able to start planning the promotion of your fundraiser.
Using social media is a great way to promote your walk as you will have control over the images and updates you share, and will be able to engage with people directly making your messages personalised.
How can I thank my donors?
Saying thank you is so important! Let your donors know how grateful you are for their donation.
Thank your donors via your social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), by sending them an email or an SMS.
What is my fundraising dashboard?
Your online fundraising dashboard is your own website where you can easily manage your fundraising.
You can personalise your page with your own story and photos; as well as send out e-mails to collect donations and thank your donors.
How do I upload photos to my page?
You can upload photos by clicking on the ‘Edit My Page’ tab, then scroll down to 'Your Gallery'.
How do I change my message or page name?
You can change your page name and personal message by clicking on the ‘Edit My Page’ tab. Follow the prompts and ensure you save your changes.
Click the ‘view’ link above your fundraising information to see your changes.
How do I ask people for donations?
You can e-mail your networks directly from the fundraising dashboard by clicking on the 'Send Email’ tab.
You can use the e-mail template provided or write your own message to request donations.

The Friendship Circle is a hyper-local charity located in the Eastern Suburbs that helps people with disabilities connect to the community through engaging young volunteers in the community and creating amazing shared experiences.
How do I donate to a participant?
Every penny counts! To make a donation to a participant or team;
- Head to the home page and select ‘donate’.
- If you are wanting to donate to a specific fundraiser, select the ‘Search’ button.
- Type in the person or fundraiser’s name.
- You will be taken to their online fundraising page to make a donation.
Is Friendship Circle tax-deductible?
NSW Friendship circle is a registered DGR1. This means all donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
Where is the Walk located this year?
We are excited to announce that the Walk will be back at Vaucluse Primary School this year. Doors will open at 9am. So get ready to join in all the fun, rain, hail or shine!
Is there a virtual component to the Walk?
This year our Walk will be in person. If you are unable to attend you can still make a donation.
Who is the Walk for?
The Walk is a great acitivity for all ages.
How long is the Walk?
The Walk is a little over 2km around Watsons Bay and takes about 20 minutes to complete.
Where should I park?
The Walk is a loop that starts at Vaucluse Primary School and ends back at the school for a fun after party. Best would be to park close to the school, but come early to get the best spots!
