Friendship Circle believes every child has a purpose and a gift to share. That’s why they bring young people with and without disabilities together and in those friendships, everyone gives something and everyone learns something.
I’ve seen what it means for Elisha. Through camps and weekend programs, he gets to connect with others, and he’s built real friendships there. Being part of this community makes him feel special and important! It’s a place where he’s genuinely valued for who he is.
That’s why keeping these programs running matters so much. Friendship Circle’s programs, events and community initiatives rely entirely on donations. Every dollar raised means another young person like Elisha finds friendship and feels they belong.

As I write this, Elisha is away at Friendship Circle Camp, having the most amazing weekend.
I can’t tell you what that sentence means to us. He’s off with his volunteers and camp buddies, making friendships, being celebrated for exactly who he is and he’ll come home glowing. Every single time, he comes home so happy.
And while he’s having the time of his life, we get something precious too: unhurried time with our other children. Anyone in a family like ours knows how rare and how needed that is. We are so grateful for these opportunities ❤️
That’s what Friendship Circle does. They believe every child has a purpose and a gift to share, and they bring young people with and without disabilities together so that everyone gives something and everyone learns something. Elisha isn’t a participant there. He’s a friend, and he belongs.
None of it happens without donations. The camps, the weekend programs, the volunteers, the community it all runs on the generosity of people who believe this matters.
I’ve registered for the Friendship Walk because I want other families to have what ours has been given. Please give what you can.
