Major Milestone - Rubi turns 22
For those of you who don’t know, my incredible daughter Rubi suffers from a rare genetic disorder and fought against all odds to survive. In fact she had a ten per cent chance of making it at birth! She continues despite numerous quite unbelievable struggles and challenges to fight every day.
This week is momentous for Rubi and our family. Today she has reached the fantastic milestone of 22 years old. We are so fortunate to be able to celebrate this extraordinary miracle and milestone and once again give thanks and acknowledge the role played by the Friendship Circle, a truly remarkable organisation!
When Rubi turned 5 we connected with the Friendship Circle. It was different to every other organisation we had been involved with up until this time. The Friendship Circle believes that every child has purpose and should be given opportunity. That the community can only be whole when every individual is included.
Once again I urge you to dig deep and support the Friendship Circle in raising funds for their incredible programmes raising awareness for kids with special needs.
Please help us reach our goal and support this amazing charity that is a wonderful part of her life, without the funds annually this charity would cease to exist.
This August, once again, we will walk together as a community to celebrate our extraordinary kids. We would love you to join us in walking if available or please contribute generously.
